Growing up in West Virginia, I loved country music. I wanted to
be a country music singer, but God had other plans for my life. There
were seven children in our family and from our youth we were taught to
love and reverence God. As a teenager, I ran from God's plan for my
life, but answered His call at an early age. I have now been in full
time gospel ministry for thirty years.
Of all the songs I have sang throughout the years, "The Final
Altar Call" has touched more lives and has been the most requested. It
was written from a true story. My goal in singing gospel songs is to
bring a blessing to God's people and turn the lost to Christ. As we
record these songs, we strive for good quality sound; but above all, I
pray each song will be anointed by the Holy Spirit.
